PowerBrick-61Ah-48V-and-250Ah-12V

Poissy, April 4, 2018

PowerTech Systems, a manufacturer of innovative energy storage systems specializing in Lithium-ion Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) technologies, is expanding its PowerBrick+ product line and introduces two new batteries: PowerBrick+ 48V-61Ah and PowerBrick+ 12V-250Ah.

The PowerBrick+ product line includes 12V batteries with a capacity of 7.5Ah, 12Ah, 20Ah, 40Ah, 55Ah, 100Ah, as well as 48V batteries with a capacity of 25Ah. Each of them can be assembled in series or in parallel according to the expressed need.

PowerTech Systems is now expanding its offer with Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries of 48V 61Ah and 12V 250Ah for a power of 3200 Wh each.

A large, totally secure energy capacity

PowerTech Systems Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries are fully secured and protected against the risk of explosion and self-ignition. Equipped with an integrated BMS (Battery Management System), the operation of each battery cell is monitored in real time.

Innovative technology with considerable advantages

In addition to optimum safety, PowerBrick+ 48V-61Ah and 12V-250Ah batteries are 2 times lighter, 2 times smaller than equivalent lead-acid batteries. Lifespan is up to 10 times longe than AGMr battery hanks to up to 5000 charging cycles.

Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries ideal for a wide range of applications

  • Marine applications, boats, catamarans, sailboats, electric boats,
  • Caravanning, motor home, mobile home, chalet, cottage,
  • On-grid and off-grid energy use, self-consumption, solar photovoltaic energy storage, wind energy storage,

PowerTech Systems attends Hyvolution exhibition on April 4 and 5, 2018

Poissy, April 3, 2018

During two days, the hydrogen storage actors meet during the Hyvolution congress at the Parc Floral in Paris. The event will begin on Wednesday morning with the presentation of a prospective study on France.

PowerTech Systems, will be present at stand 17, with PowiDian, designer of autonomous power stations using renewable energies and hydrogen as fuel.

About PowiDian products

  • MobHylpower

Presented for the first time at Hyvolution 2018, the Mobhylpower is a generator that uses hydrogen as fuel and can therefore provide mobile electricity without any polluting emissions. It is equipped with the PowerRack® modular Lithium-Ion storage system, now approved by Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore. It is available in 30kW and soon in a 4kW version.

  • SAGES Station

The SAGES stations are energy storage stations that mix several technologies (modular Lithium-Ion storage system (LiFePO4) PowerRack®, hydrogen fuel cell…) allowing to meet the needs in electrical storage for many applications (isolated sites, self-consumption) thanks to its technology allowing to use the capacities of each technology to the best of its capacities.

By 2016, 650 people had participated in the first edition of Hyvolution. There are twice as many registered for this second edition, proof that the hydrogen industry is moving forward.

The E-mobility market today

Electro-mobility becomes more democratic

It is the ability or property for people or objects to move in a space, by a means of transport using partially or totally electrical energy.

Today, electromobility meets a major challenge in the fight against global warming. That of the replacement of polluting thermal engines by electric models more respectful of the environment.

According to figures released by the IEA (International Energy Agency), the number of electric cars in circulation around the world has sharply increased in 2016. With more than 750,000 units sold (40% more than the previous year), the market of green vehicles has exceeded the symbolic bar of 2 millions of units.

Some key figures:

  • China has become the main market for electrically powered cars. With more than 336,000 new registrations, it concentrates more than 40% of global sales in 2016. Moreover, there are 200 million electric two-wheelers and more than 300,000 electric busses.
  • In second place is Europe with more than 215,000 green cars in 2016.
  • In Norway, electric cars account for 1/3 of new car sales.
  • Next come the United Kingdom, France (where electromobility represents only 1.5% of the market share), Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands.
